After a serious attack the production environment is a crime scene: restoring into it often means reinfecting yourself. Cleanroom Recovery creates on demand in Azure an isolated, clean environment where you restore the copies, verify them with scans, run forensics and — if needed — keep the business running while production is remediated. And when there's no emergency, the same cleanroom serves the periodic cyber tests.

From copy to sterile room: the flow

The cleanroom plan defines what to restore and in what order; provisioning creates in Azure an isolated network, dedicated identities and the needed resources; copies — even from the air gap — are restored and scanned; systems start in sequence with validations; the business can operate from the cleanroom while production is analyzed and remediated; at the end of the emergency (or the test) the environment is torn down and the report remains: times, outcomes, evidence.
