01 · What it is

Fusion Cloud Applications, made clear.

Fusion Cloud Applications is Oracle's SaaS suite: ERP (finance, procurement, projects), HCM (people and payroll), SCM (supply chain and manufacturing), EPM for planning — on a common data model, with quarterly updates managed by Oracle and AI embedded in the processes.

The ERP as a service

The migration from legacy

From EBS/JDE or local ERPs: process and data mapping first of all.

Managing the quarterlies

New features every quarter: regression testing must be organized, not endured.

Integration with the rest

OIC to banks, customs, MES: SaaS doesn't live alone.

Extensions without forcing

VBCS and APEX next to the suite: the custom outside the core, upgradeable.

03 · In depth

SaaS Fusion: releases, extensions and data

Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, CX) updates every quarter: releases must be tested on the key processes (sandboxes and dedicated test environments), extensions are made outside the core with Visual Builder/APEX on OCI and Redwood pages personalize the experience without touching the code; data leaves via BICC/OTBI to the data warehouse; the federated IdP (Entra/other) governs access.

  • Quarterly update — 4 mandatory releases per year: regression testing becomes a process
  • Estensioni fuori dal core — Visual Builder and APEX on OCI: the custom that survives the updates
  • Redwood — the new configurable UX: personalizing without forking
  • BICC/OTBI — the extractors for the data warehouse: Fusion data in your analytics
  • Ambienti test — prod + test + dev: the release pipeline in SaaS too
  • SSO federato — the corporate Entra/IdP in front of everything: access and MFA governed
